Easy Ways To Save Money & Abundance Revisited

Monday, January 11th, 2010

A penny saved is a penny earned so they say. Today most people want to save all the pennies they can, in fact if you look after the pennies the “pounds” will look after themselves.

Now I’m not saying you should be a cheapskate but if you go around wasting money you won’t be able to say you are “Pennywise”

Now a good example of how to save money is this. You might be down at the mall or Ice Skating and you find yourself getting hungry.

You could immediately go to a local fried chicken or hamburger franchise. There you will find amyriad of ways to “Waste your money”… Yes thats right!!

Now when a detective arrives on a crime scene one of the first questions he should ask himself is this “Who stands to gain financially from this crime?”

See what I mean? You spend your good money so someone can poison you with overdoses of sugar, chemicals, transfats etc etc.

A better idea is this. Cut some fresh fruit into small easy to bite pieces, put it into a plastic bag and take it with you when you go out. You might be in a barbershop or haberdashery for example when hunger pangs stike. No problem, two peices of melon are quickly taken from the pocket, delicious.

Don’t worry if you feel this is contrary to todays “norm”. It is. But if you want to start a trend… THIS IS the way to do it. Maybe yo can discover another way to eat a banana or something and get the method named after you. I’m not kidding. Ask the EARL of SANDWICH if you think I’m kidding.

Good Luck

Martial Artists Can Push Out The Pain

Monday, January 11th, 2010

The first time people get hit in the martial arts is a shocking experience.

They’re not used to being pummeled by veritable strangers, some of whom outweigh them by dozens of pounds. Although a few trainees had bullying brothers and sisters, the most they ever did was pin their shoulders and tickle them until they cried.

To succeed, in an out of the dojo, martial artists have to overcome the shock of being hit, kicked, and bruised.

Just because you’re in pain, you can’t call a time out in a real world fight. Civility flies out the window with the first move.

So, how do you deal with pain, if you can’t summon a battlefield medic?

You learn to push it out, also known as repelling.

This is an exercise in instantaneous visualization. When you’re hit hard, you see the pain being pushed back in the direction of the kick or strike from which it came.

I just did this in my garden. Walking toward the driveway to retrieve my cell phone from the car, I stumbled in the darkness, in bare feet, over an elevated sprinkler head.

Recovering my balance, I felt searing pain running up the underside of my foot from toe to heel. Instead of giving into the pain, I pushed it out, with a grunt.

Right away, that put me back in charge of the situation. I got my phone, came back into the house, and ignored my foot while my computer booted up. Then, I took the first look at the physical damage done.

I have a small cut and nothing more. What I don’t know is if I avoided greater damage by repelling. I believe, having been injured lots of times in martial arts, that I minimized the harm.

The next time you stub your toe, walk into a doorway, or do something that causes pain, try to push it out right away.

I think you’ll find it’s worth your effort!

Explode the Number of Websites Linking to Your Website - Automatically and Continually

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

Have you run out of sites to exchange links with? Are you tired of spending hours optimizing your website for the search engines? Or are you broke from buying text links or pay per click advertising, just trying to get a little traffic and generate a few sales?

If you are, I’ll show you a very easy way to generate an avalanche of backlinks to your site, while exploding your Page Rank, website traffic, and sales. The best part of it all is that this all comes automatically and the results are often permanent.

More than a little intriguing, isn’t it?

If you currently sell a product online or through the web, you have a golden opportunity to seize the moment and claim all of the benefits listed above.

“How?” you ask.

Simply by setting up your own affiliate program.

If you don’t already know about affiliate programs, essentially what happens is that you allow people to sign up with your company to sell your products by referring your products to other people. Then, when these people refer someone to your website who buys your product, you give the referrer a commission (how much is up to you).

Anyways, in order for these people to refer people to your site and get commissions, they need to link to your site.

So, for every affiliate that signs up to sell your product on their website, you’ve just gained another one way link to your site.

Your affiliate wins as they earn commissions selling your product – and it doesn’t cost them anything to become your affiliate, but you stand to benefit much more in this relationship.

In getting links to your website from your own affiliate program, you get:

-websites and people that promote your product and website for free. By signing up an affiliate, you have essentially signed up a full time salesperson who is paid strictly by commission.

-an increased amount of traffic to your website from people following your affiliate link

-a huge Page Rank boost from all of the sites linking to you. Don’t forget that all of these links to your website will be one way – you don’t have to link back to their website (which increases the value of the link in the search engine’s eyes).

-the visitors to your website will be highly qualified, as the site that they just came from was promoting your product or website, making the visitor much more likely to buy your product or service.

Imagine what would happen if you had a website with a high Page Rank like a PR 7 or PR 8 linking to your site and selling your product.

Your website traffic would go through the roof, you’d probably get more of your website’s pages listed in the major search engines, and your site’s PR would increase. On top of all of this, you’d probably see a sharp increase in your sales.

And remember, because you set up the affiliate program, you get all of these benefits without it costing you a single penny.

You don’t need to buy text links from a PR 7 site at $100/month anymore when you can simply sign them up as an affiliate and get all of the benefits of having them link to you for free.

Please keep this in mind: If you do start an affiliate program, in order to get all of the benefits that we have just looked at, you must make sure that your affiliates link directly to your website.

There are companies such as Clickbank, who will run your affiliate program for you, but all of your affiliates must link to Clickbank first, after which they are redirected onto your website. As far as the things that we have discussed, if you have your affiliates link to another website first before they come to your site, it will ruin everything.

If you are going to increase the number of one way links to your website along with your site’s PR with very little effort and no money, you should use a program that automates as much of the steps involved in affiliate marketing as possible.

It’s great when you can increase you website’s PR, traffic, and sales automatically; and starting your own affiliate program can help you do just that.

How to Take the Labour out of Language Learning

Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

Oh yes, it is possible. Let me show you some of the ways.

First of all commit to enjoyment and make the decision that it’s going to be fun. Look for ways of making it pleasurable. Tell people what a great time you are having. Believe it and enjoy. The above could apply to anything of course. It might be another learning situation, a new job, helping at a jumble sale, organising a coach trip for your son’s football team.

Secondly – be positive. Remarks like “I’m hopeless, I’ll never learn this” tend to be self fulfilling prophesies. Better to say something like ” I am getting better and better at learning words”. Stop yourself when you hear yourself saying, ” I can’t ” about anything. Change it to a positive affirmation in the present tense. “I am becoming more and more confident at speaking”.

Thirdly try out some of these activities:

Use colour when writing words i.e. one colour for masculine words and another for feminine words, another colour for verbs, another for adjectives etc. This helps them to stand out and stay in your memory.

Start drawing and don’t say, “I can’t draw”. Everybody can in some form or other and “practice makes perfect”. Make the drawings funny, make them silly, laugh, have fun, show them to your friends. Be inventive. The act of drawing and thinking what to draw will help you recall these words later. And you never know you may discover hidden talents!
Plan what you are going to do. How much time can you spend? Five minutes a day is better than 30 minutes before your next class. How many words are you going to learn? Be reasonable. Make it possible. One word a day learnt thoroughly is better than aiming for 10 a day and never achieving it. Set yourself up for success.

Word association can help too i.e. el gato is cat in Spanish. Think of a cat sitting in the middle of a cream gateau.

Music is an aid to learning. Baroque music is particularly helpful. Or dance round the room chanting sentences or verbs (close the curtains and make sure that you’re alone in the house maybe!).

Last but not least find ways of listening to the language even if you cannot understand all or much of what is said.
Speaking another language means that you can talk to people more easily. You will find it opens doors in many ways and helps you learn about other people. It’s exciting. It’s fun. Enjoy.

P.S. Learning a language? Any problems or difficulties contact me and I will help you.
