The 2005 World Series of Poker event is scheduled to begin June 2, 2005 in Las Vegas and an estimated 5,000 players are expected to participate in the $10,000 buy-in, no-limit Texas hold ‘em main event.

The event will be held at the Rio Hotel and Casino from June 3rd to July 15th, with the last two days taking place at Jack Binnions Horseshoe Casino in Las Vegas.

The buy-ins for the 2005 WSOP events range from $1,000 to $10,000 and most of the WSOP tournament final tables are taped and televised by ESPN.

The World Series of Poker started as an invitational tournament in 1970. Jack Binnion invited the best seven poker players in America to his casino in Las Vegas to decide whom Americas best poker player was. Johnny Moss won the 1970 WSOP title by actually being voted the best player by his playing companions.

The 1971 World Series of poker was played as a freezout tournament, meaning one player had to win all the chips.
Thirteen players participated and Johnny Moss won it this time fair and square with some brilliant poker play.

T. J. Cloutier has been the most successful WSOP player over the years and has finished in the money in over 30 events. He has won five first place gold bracelets and finished second twice in the main Championship event of Texas Hold’em.

Anyone, regardless of gender or nationality can play in the WSOP as long as they are 21 years of age and can afford the $10,000 entrance fee.

World Series of Poker has become extremely popular in the recent years. Especially since the 2003 WSOP Championship, when Chris Moneymaker, (yes it is his real name) won 2.5 million dollars after qualifying through a 40 dollar online satellite tournament.

In 2004 there were 2,576 entries for the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em WSOP Championship and the prize money had increased to more than $49 million. Greg Raymer beat 2576 players to win the first price of 5 million dollars for a buy-in stake of $40 which also was won online.

The 2005 World Series of Poker will last for approximately 40 days and an estimated 10,000 poker players from all over the world will compete in more than 30 different poker games.

The winner of each event will be awarded a gold bracelet and first place cash prizes ranging from $500,000 to $10,000,000.

When you first come across the part of the Euromillions Euro lotto that is the El Gordo Lottery, you will definitely want to learn more. Boasting payouts up to two point six billion Euros, the El Gordo Lottery claims one of the world's richest jackpots. And neither is this the lottery's only claim to fame! With more than thirteen thousand prizes being offered the chances of winning a prize work out to around one in every six. Astonishing odds when compared with the majority of other major lotteries.

The Elgordo Lottery is part of the Euromillions Euro lottery, but if that’s all you’ve ever heard that’s certainly not enough. Boasting one of the largest jackpots of our time, this wager offers pots of between eighty-four million and 2.6 billion Euros. And yet there’s more. With over thirteen thousand prizes being offered your chances of winning a prize work out to around one per every six. A remarkable rate when compared with other branded lotteries.

Interested in entering this draw? There are two options; first, you can purchase an entire ticket, called a “serie”. The other option is cheaper; called a “d©cimo” valued at one tenth of a full ticket. Sadly, both both of these choices are comparatively pricy ways to play and neither will ramp up your chances of winning . That’s why many people playing the Euromillions Euro lotto instead use the e-lottery system.

Once per month the Euromillions Euro lottery holds a draw. Grander prizes can be won at featured drawings held during three months a year. These 3 special drawings are held in January, summer, and around Christmas; in order, they are El Nio, San Ildefonso and Elgordo, literally meaning: “the Fatso”.

Balls with numbers ranging between 00,000 and 84,999 are not part of a standard lottery system, but this draw employs a unique system using them. The system employs two bowls, with one used determining a winner, while the second decides the prize value.

Everyone’s guaranteed to win a prize if participating in the e-lottery system. You just buy into the Euromillions Euro Lottery syndicate which will then divide you up into teams. These teams are assigned an identifying number from 1-9, the last number on the winning ball in the draw identifying the team which will receive the money. The prize is divided evenly among the team members. In preparation for the next draw, the syndicate once again takes subscriptions to continue the e-lottery.

Did you know the prospects of scooping the Euromillions "jackpot" is a remote one : seventy-six million but the chances of acquiring a money prize is a somewhat decent 1 in 24. When the jack-pot is not won on a given week, it is carried over to the next lottery draw that will result in an ever increasing jack-pot value. Recent rules brought in on the 09/02/2007 specify the amount of successive roll overs to 11, with the jackpot rolling out to smaller value levels on the eleventh draw when the prize is not collected.

The European lotto was originally founded by the national lotteries of France, the United Kingdom and Spain and was revealed on February 2004. The initial lotto draw was on Feb 13th 04 in Paris. The UK, France and Spain were the only nations partaking in the beginning but lotteries from Belgium, the Republic of Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Switzerland and Austria also got involved on October-04.

The Euro millions lottery or the Euro Lottery, as it’s normally recognized, gathers the lottery ticket receipts of the 9 partaking Euro countries delivering a massive European Lottery “jackpot”. With the quantity of nations joining the Euro on the increase, this will without a doubt lead to new states partaking in the EuroMillions lottery. A growth in the amount of people partaking in the Euro Millions lottery will result in a lasting increase of the already tremendous Euro Lottery “jackpots”.

 Q. How To Play The Euro millions Lottery

Every participant must choose five main numbers from 1 to 50 plus 2 Lucky Star numbers from one to nine. During the draw, 5 main plus 2 lucky star numbers are then picked out at random from 2 draw machines containing numbered lottery balls.

 European Lottery Prizes

The probability of scooping up the Euro Millions jack-pot is a distant 1 : seventy-six million but the prospect of winning a cash prize is a somewhat decent 1 in twenty four. When the jackpot is not won on a given week, it is carried over to the following lottery draw that will result in an ever increasing jack-pot value. New rules brought in on the 9/02/07 specify the number of successive roll overs to 11, with the jackpot rolled down to smaller prize levels on the eleventh lotto draw if the prize is not collected.

The new rules likewise initiated Euro Lotto Super Draw which come about twice annually and offer jackpots in the region of 100 million pounds. The difference with “Super Draws” is that the jack-pot must be collected during the week of the lotto draw; as a result, when there is no lottery ticket corresponding, all the drawn numbers then the top prize will be distributed to the lottery ticket bearer(s) on the next winning prize level.
